what a good day....

so yesterday after my classes and stressing out about my major (whatever....do i really need one of those??) i decided to take a good long nap. i was going to get up around 6:15ish (i went to bed about 5:00)...but when dad called at 5:30 and woke me up, my nap definitely needed to go longer. silly me woke up at 7:00 and realized i had missed dinner. :-( so i fell back asleep. when i finally did get out of bed it was already 8:30......and whoops, i realized i missed my IFC meeting. but.....(here's the good part!)

Alexis was headed to Ivanhoe's, so i went too. i ate too much, but it was yummy....plus, i had a really healthy day otherwise. but before we left i checked my mail. i was SO excited to find out i had 2...yes TWO real letters. (okay cards...whatever) my mom had sent me one, which was absolutely wonderful. i will definitely write her back soon. and then there was a second one. i did not recognize the handwritting whatsoever, and i was quite confused. that was until i turned it over and realized it was from landon's grandparents!! they sent me a nice card for my birthday. i was shocked......so yes. 2 wonderful cards in 1 day!!!!

so after Ivanhoe's i knew i needed to study, but decided to get to bed early and study this morning. but before i fell asleep, i had to name my fish and frog. i've had them a week...and they needed names. My fish are Pete and Yellowfish. and my frog is GulpGulp. I think those are perfect names....and someday you should ask me to tell you the story of GulpGulp and Yellowfish.

so this morning I got up about 8:25ish and came to the library to study. yes yes. I have now studied for about 2 and 1/2 hours for my statistics test....i hope it goes alright. yikes. now it is time to get to lunch with Alexis. :-D
