April Fool's Day

i love it.

as i have said earlier, it is my birthday. what a day. i have been told that i love my birthday and celebrate it like it's my job. and that is true. so i make sure that everyone knows when my birthday is so that way everyone tells me happy birthday on my birthday. The thing is that my birthday is very memorable. For one, it is on the first of the month and it is usually noticed when months change. and then again it is also April Fool's Day, which throughout your day, many people probably mention. so therefore, people remember my birthday.

So let me tell you about my birthday this year.

i slept on the couch last night as i did not want to clear off my bed which is covered in lots of odd things i brought home from school as i was not using them. i woke up around 8:15, kind of early, but not too bad. about 10:15 mom and liz and i left and went to the Albany post office and then headed to the the bakery to pick up my cake and some breakfast. i ate a blueberry doughnut with blue icing and sprinkles and half of a very good cresant doughnut. it was delish. then we went to the mall and i got my second hole put in my ears. i now have 6 peircings and i think that is pretty good. after the mall we called grandma and ate lunch at the olive garden. i had the seafood alfredo. delish once again. liz and grandma then went shopping and i went with mom to hobby lobby and the grocery. karen joined us at hobby lobby and then headed to work (she had just gotten off of jury duty...fun fun). mom and i then went to marsh. we ran into Denise Shockley from across the street, Jane Delph (Rachel's mom), Landon's mom, and this other lady's that had me speak at her church for a 30 hour famine thing. We were just going for a short trip, but ended up staying way too long. oh well. it was nice to see all those people. Then we headed home and put away the groceries. i ate another cresant doughnut.

i am now sitting at my computer and about to take a nap.

my birthday plan has worked (the one about getting people to remember) because 8....yes EIGHT people (only two realated) have called me today. i feel so so special. it is a great day.

landon is coming to take me out to dinner sometime tonight. it's all a surprise. so that's exciting. i'll let you know how it all turns out!
