the weekend.....

a good weekend.
went to landon's game, he played very well. sunday was a great day with his family and dinner after lunch. the weekend was really fun. i'd write more, but i'm tired. overall, it was a great weekend...and i was invited to go to the formal new years eve party at Cedar Creek, and even a place to stay after it's done. yes for Mandy!

now it is monday night and i had 3 finals today. well, actually just one and then 2 class finals where i actually just had to sit and watch presentations. tomorrow i'm working for most of the day....Wednesday i actually have things due and Thursday i have a test. that's about it.

now it's time for some friends with alexis.

so an update.

my colonial paper is turned in! yes...FINISHED! i can't believe i finished that class. honestly, i was terrified most of the semester, but i finished. i feel this semester actually accomplished something. i guess reading 10 books and writing an 18 pager would make one feel accomplished. anyway. it's done and over with. we'll see how the grade comes out.

another thing. time to update my amazon wishlist. yes. so if you are wondering......it's going to be updated.

Dawson's Creek.....

i just watched an episode of it.....and remembered all the reasons why i love it.

i want seasons 2 and 3. i have 1 and 4....now i just need to fill in the middle and get the ones after season 4.

time for bed...but wanted you all to know i still love dawson's creek.

the first big snow....

so tonight was the first big snow. after going to the movie with kyle and then coming back to TU, the snow had begun to fall very hard.

after a while i changed into some warm pants and a hat and a sweatshirt. it was a good hard not too cold snow. a few other swallowites were outside as well. so we somewhat had a snowball fight. more than anything it was just a good time outside in the middle of the night playing in the snow. it was so good.

reminded me of the time when karen, phil, liz and i danced in the snow to dean martin. i even sang a few lyrics just to remember. spinning in the heavy snow, letting the snow gather around on my clothes. it was simple and it was wonderful. i don't really remember why we were all together that night, or when it was, but we were. it was probably after a family dinner at the olive garden. so yea. it was good tonight to remember that fun night. and tonight was fun too. the first big snow of the season.

so yea. i also realized how much i do enjoy the snow...but even more so at night than in the day. at night it reminds me of dancing in the snow with my family, ice skating on a frozen pond last year, the first time i went sledding with landon, kyle, and mischon when landon and i first started dating, and other fun times late at night in the snow. so many good memories. i'm excited for more of them.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIZ!!!
today liz is 23 years old. is that possible? i mean, duh it's possible....but really....seems like just the other day we were in high school together. that was so much fun. dancing through the halls. laughing. movies all the time....even more so than now. art trips to chicago. mom picking us up from school....dancing in the snow waiting, while priscilla waited inside with no coat (not because we were mean and didn't like her...but because she didn't want to look "stupid") . it was a great year.....

happy birthday liz.....i love you!

p.s. i think the gnome monster has retired for the evening. we'll wait to see if he strikes again tomorrow!

i haven't talked to him for more than five minutes since tuesday? wows....that's just how busy we've been. tuesday i was running all day and had a presentation early wednesday morning. then wednesday i was in class until 4:30 and then home quick (to get decoratrions) before decorating for the open house. and when i finally did have 2 seconds, he was at practice. then i was asleep. today i was working and at class...then liz's birthday. he wasn't in his room and his phone wasn't on. so it's just been busy busy busy. but i knew this week would be this way.....so i'll hopefully talk to him (you!!) tomorrow. so yea.

soon i'll hit the sack....but first, setting up ResNet on my laptop! yes!!

7:00 and i'm spent....

so i left the house at 4:00 this morning. drove to the office and got the mail. then stopped by the ATM to get some cash. then to best buy. stood in line in the cold for about 30 minutes..but i got the good deals. then headed to meijer and target and a final stop at elder beerman. i managed to get lots of presents for people....

so it was good...but i'm headed to bed!

i bought my laptop online today!!!! it's flipping sweet! i can't wait to show it to you all....it's amazing! i searched for weeks and finally found the right one, the right price, the right everything....patience is a good thing.

besides that, today was thanksgiving at grandma's. it was a really good time. not a huge group of people, but that's okay. we stayed until about 7ish....and then headed home. we had a great thanksgiving dinner and had a lot of fun. we played catch phrase....that was fun. we all laughed a lot.

after coming home, i began my laptop search again. found THE one....bought it, and then began on a massive shopping excursion tomorrow. it's almost all planned...and after tomorrow, i'll have almost all of my shopping done. so....i'm headed out at 4. a first time day after thanksgiving day shopping trip for this girl....it'll be an adventure. i'm expecting long lines, crazy parking and large crowds...but good deals as well.

so. i'm off for now! and here's to a wonderful thanksgiving, a new laptop, and a good day of shopping for tomorrow!

it's thanksgiving break now.

i finished my paper...and even got to sleep a little bit. i then worked all day....and came home to family. i finally went to bed and i slept it. double yes! and a nap an hour later....hey, it was only half an hour. anyway. now i'm headed to bed again. sleeping in tomorrow before heading off to grandma's for lunch.

so i've been working on this paper forever. but unfortunately the writing part hadn't arrived until today. yes. bad move on my part...but i've been working on the background work a lot. so don't think i've been slacking. i haven't. just really busy. so tonight. my paper. yikes. a lot of work is ahead of me. but i've been writing for about a total of three hours and i have about 4 1/2 pages done. so yea. it shouldn't be too bad. but right now it's time for a break. i'm planning on about 16 pages for the first draft. so only about 11 1/2 left to go. not TOO bad.

but hey. i'm confident i'll get it done. so that's a good thing.
by tomorrow at 9 a.m. this paper will be done.

today i got up early and went to work. i made it to jay county high school by 8:30. karen and rajeev and i set things up and tagged items. some friends of ours were at the booth next to us, so that was fun. we sold a lot of things and did pretty well for the day. at one i left and went to the office to mow the yard. after i got done with that, i went back to jay county to help tear everything down. we then came back to muncie and ate at puerta vallarta. yummm. now i'm back at TU and exhausted. it's going to be a good night for a shower and reading, then bed. i'm doing a good job of getting stuff done this weekend, but also relaxing too. this next week is going to be a week of getting sleep. not like last week.

thanksgiving is not far away....which is good. but terrifying. i have to have my colonial first draft turned in, and a lot of other things are due too....yikes! but...it'll be good. only a month left of classes. i can't believe how fast it has gone. if it keeps this up...i'll be done before i know it. wow.

alright. i feel gross and smell like freshly cut grass....i say it's time for a shower. good good. lunch at home tomorrow...so that's going to be fun. plus some studying in there somewhere. so far it's been a good weekend. and i'm pretty sure it'll stay that way.

yesterday

was mom's birthday! it was great. we had a wonderful dinner at Bahama Breeze. Landon came down from BG and Phil from Columbus. It was a good time for all of us. Happy Birthday Mom! I love you.

after dinner i wrote up my outline for Colonial history. yikers. finally got it done and hit the bed at about 4 this morning. I was up for my 9 o'clock class, nap at 10, work at 11, class at 12 and 1. by 2:30 i was asleep. went to dinner with a friend tonight...and now it's time for a movie and some knitting. sounds good to me. then bed.

tomorrow, i'm working for Karen and Rajeev at a craft show. it'll be a long day, but fun. i'm looking forward to working for Phulbari again.

i have been super busy lately, but i have a few minutes right now. so i'll update.

Wednesday:
i went to bg. surprised landon and that was fun. we played video games and had dinner with ryan. i want mario kart. i actually got back early. before midnight! whoa..i think that has never happened. okay, maybe one other time.

Thursday:
i found out Donald Miller was speaking at AU's chapel. so i went. it was good and i got to see Brittany and Rachel. it was a fun adventure. I then met mom and a friend in Muncie for lunch. came back to TU. napped when i should have been working on homework. studied for my exam. and met up with mom again to go hear a reading by Donald Miller. that was good and a really good time with mom. we then got custard too! yummmy!

Friday: I met up with Karen and Rajeev to celebrate the baby. (okay...just wanted to celebrate!) we ate dinner at Pizza Hut. SO Good! i then headed back to TU, but remembered it was Delta sectional championships....yes! at delta. against central. I made it there with 1:45 left in the game. tied 14 to 14! i found my friends and old youth pastor....ended up being triple overtime with delta winning! that hasn't happened since 2001...so GO DELTA! it was an amazing game. I'm very proud of Ross and Chance!

Saturday: painted the baby's room at Karen and Rajeev's! it's going to be amazing! yellow and green. it's adorable. I then met up with Andy Phillips and went to see Zorro. not that awesome. oh well. Then i had dinner with mom and karen and rajeev at K&R's. chili. it was good. then i headed back to TU to do homework. stayed up unitl 3 working...yikes. another late night tonight too.

Sunday: well at 4:30 i woke up and ended up throwing up the chili. not good the second time. and i'm still confused by that one. slept in. worked on homework. napped. dinner. procrastinating and trying to get past the writers block i was having. finally did. i finished both papers that are due. and now it's time to get my reading done. i'll be up all night..but that's okay. i'm going to get a lot accomplished. yes i will.

that's right. swallow girls have a brother floor. we are about to go meet them. the brothers are actually from IWU. a kind of different situation, but hey....it's new people to meet. so there.

seems that landon and i have been posting more than liz! whoa. i think this whole thing with her working full time has slowed down the blogging. that's no good. now what am i going to do when i get bored?

anyway. landon just posted about the snow which made me think of christmas break....i can't wait for it! and then hopefully some long afternoons around the house watching movies and falling asleep. and plus. it's christmas break...i'm looking forward to it.

so yea....it's ten till one and that's when i have to be in class. i worked from 9 - 12 today and then went to my 12 o'clock class. we got out early so i came to this computer lab before my next class. then i eat lunch. i'm hungry now. i wish i could eat now. oh well. 2 o'clock will come soon enough.

where do i begin?

huh? i'm really not sure. so i'm going to dedicate this entry to landon meyers.

i have been dating landon for over three years now. it seems like it has been forever some days. thinking back i remember the first time we hung out and i knew he liked me. we went to see Mr. Deeds on July 7, 2002. (see. i told you i remembered) we went with our two great friends jake and mischon. i wish they were still around because now we are not in much contact with them at all. Mischon is at Anderson U and we still see her every now and then, but who knows where Jake has ended up. I miss those kids. anyway. landon and i spent more and more time together as the year progressed and by the end of september we were dating but not admitting it. hah. anyway. things since then have been wonderful.

landon and i have grown up together now. we were dating when we were 16 years old and juniors in high school. all we did was laugh. we used to stay after school just so we could spend time together...seeing as his parents limited that quite often. i can't tell you how many movies we watched, how many times we got together just to study, how many hockey games i went to, and how many stupid things we have done. but we never fail to keep making each other laugh. even now, we still do stupid things, but we laugh. it is so good to know it doesn't matter what i do, landon still loves me. and the same is true for him....i still love him.

recently he has decided to transfer to ball state just to be home. this spring he is going to focus more on school and not play hockey. i'm excited about him being home, but i'll miss watching him play. but while i say that, i know he will never fully give up hockey and i love that. hockey has been such a big part of our lives. i mean we squished the sweetheart's dance into the weekend of state tournament. we went to prom at the school across town because of hockey. there were countless drives back and forth to indy for practices and games. ever since landon quite playing for lawrence it has been different, but it's always fun to see him play. i'm amazed at how much he improves in his game every time i see him. so with that, i'm making sure i make one more game.

so yes. landon is coming home. no longer will we have to drive 3 hours just to see each other. looking back on where we started and where we are, i'm amazed. it is so good to see how we have grown up and gotten smarter, and it is so good to know God is with us through it all. i'm excited for the next step of this whole thing....wherever that is. over the past 3 years landon has become my best friend. he knows all there is to know, and has stuck around anyway...hah! and i feel the same way about him. it is amazing to know my best friend isn't going anywhere....he's sticking right with me! alright. i'm done now. but landon, i love you!

for now...the plan is:
he's decided not to play hockey spring semester.
he's going to transfer to bsu in the fall.
i'm happy about that.
we'll see where we go from there on.

but yes. the weekend was good and relaxing.
and landon's coming home on sunday.
plus. it's parent's weekend this weekend, i'm looking forward to that.

grandma's birthday is this week. so saturday we had a big party with lots of family. it was really good. fall break was great. and i didn't even really go anywhere. it was SO relaxing and i didn't feel stressed at all. that's a first in a LONG time.

so yea. it was just plain good.

Makenzie Doepke...

my goodness. i just have to tell you about makenzie doepke.

makenzie doepke is a woman i met last fall. about one year ago. we lived on the same floor my freshman year at taylor university. move in day she had on a pink tank top and camouflage pants. she seemed SO cool (which she was) and i was anxious to meet her. we greeted each other in the hall and that was about it. soon we discovered each other over nail polish and cosmo. what a combination. it is awesome to really know how our friendship began. from that point on we built a relationship on trust and care for one another. there were television shows watched together, riots participated in together, nails painted, singing in the showers, study breaks, and an unforgettable j-term. j-term was spent staying up all night drawing and studying. laughing, eating, and doing laundry all night long. we stayed up during the power outage telling scary stories and yelling horrible things...just to get a rise out of those near us. we went out for dinner way too often and sang way too loud...but it was a time of way too much fun. i wouldn't trade it for the world. when summer came we separated and went our own ways. now she lives across the campus and plays on the soccer team. how i miss her down the hall. but love her, oh of course.

makenzie has become one of my closest friends here at taylor. i love how she can cheer me up anytime and even though we are both insanely busy, when we have time to spend together, it is like we were never apart. makenzie has a beautiful spirit and is an amazing woman. i know that she is always going to be a close friend of mine.

so mak, i don't know where i would be without you.

my "date" chad, mentioned ditching the whole thing.
sounded like a plan to me.
so we grabbed 2 others
and ditched.
went to steak n shake
had dinner.
came back to TU.
very fun night.

sunday. drove to BG
i was supposed to leave at 6:45 am....but didn't wake up until 7:15. whoops.
ate at bob evans with landon, kyle and jan and dean.
played video games.
went ice skating.
watched tv and that 70s show.
hung out with ryan and mark.
drove home.

so yea. i had a VERY busy weekend, but i did get all my homework done for today and even think i did well on my test today. yes! yea for good grades. that's my goal this semester. oh yea and make it through. but this weekend is fall break. relaxing! and i think i'm spending if with the beautiful, amazing, super fun Makenzie Doepke! yes! i'm excited for this weekend of relaxation and fun.

LONG WEEKEND!!!

wow it was a LONG weekend. courtney's wedding. gee that was a blast.
plus landon got to go. that was great.
we had a family get together for donna's birthday on sunday.
basically lots of family all weekend long.
it was really good.

what an eventful night.....

so it started out for a night at sammy.
lex and i wandered over for a visit, wandering up and down the halls.
it wasn't bad
then we were bored. it was about 10:30.
we thought there might be something at the union. we didn't think there would be, but thought we'd check it out.
2 boys were playing the pool. matt and kyle.
freshmen from penthouse.
we sat and talked and watched them play pool. it was fun.
then. at 11:45 we left for ihop.
matt, kyle, and a new boy justin.
they were nice guys.
it was a fun time and new friends were made.

tomorrow is time to do more homework.
oh joy.

okay. so i did cut off all my hair. that was about 2 months ago or so.
courtney's wedding is next saturday....i'm a bridesmaid.
i'm debating on what to do with my hair.
it's complicated because of the length and my crazy thick hair.

a sigh of relief.....

so when thinking of a very busy week this week and next....i'm not overwhelmed.

being sickly....

it seems lately, whenever i'm sick, it's always at the wrong time. last time i was sick was my sister's bridal shower with friends from high school. (so when i was six. i wanted to see them now that i was big). unfortunately i was sick all day.

again. today. i'm sick. it was just a cold. but i was stupid and took cold medicine without food. bad idea. so. i went to work. then i ended up running to the bathroom (where my boss was) and throwing up there. no fun. awkward situation? oh yea. but then she bought me tea and toast. she's wonderful. she then sent me home to bed. i went to the health center and got cleared that yes indeed i was sick. so now, my day is supposed to be spent in bed.

so that's where i'm going. bed.

so i have been insanely busy these past few weeks. and i have a pretty good feeling it is going to stay this way. but that's alright....i know i can make it through if i am just determined to get it done. which i will be.

i haven't had much to blog about...so i've been kind of quiet lately. sorry for the bland posts and not much writing. oh well....at least i'm keeping something up most of the time.

well....i am playing football again this year for SR. should be fun. my roommate and i hardly see each other. at times i wonder if she exists. hehe. we are both crazy busy. but we have time to chill and watch our favorite shows together. so that's exciting. i'm reading all the time now. i feel like my mind is being overloaded, but that isn't too bad of a thing. i've been thinking about what i want to do...and i'm not sure yet. i figure i have time to figure that one out. not too stressed about it.

i wonder if i can tell you anything interesting that you don't already know. i wish i could come up with something clever...but it doesn't seem like that is happening today. oh well. at least you have a post, know a little about what is going on in my life, and maybe i'll post again later. wait. i know i'll post again. just how soon is the question.

okay. so not that much. but come on. My shirt happens to be cute and modest. a small fitted t-shirt from the Tour de France that my mom and Liz bought for me. It has hearts across the front that match the patterns of the sprinter jersey, king of the mountains jersey, first place jersey, and the rookie jersey (same patterns and heart shaped). Well. I love this shirt. in fact, it is adorable. I know this because my mother told me so.

unfortunately the hearts are placed across the chest of the shirt. kind of makes me think it should say "tour de boob" and not "tour de france"....but you know what. it isn't a big deal at all. I would never think of not wearing this shirt. I mean....Mom and Liz bought it for me in France and it's cute and has to do with the Tour de France. come on people!

well today i was told my shirt would make some boys feel bad. because they can't help it they read everything they see. so i shouldn't buy shirts that have writing on the chest. When told that my mother and sister bought it for me from France...the situation wasn't dropped. but i got around it.

so whatever. but i'm wearing my shirt anyway. so there.

let's see. i don't want to make this much longer, but i want to say something. just don't know what. oh. it's been a good summer. i'm going to miss home when i move back to school.

wow i'm lazy.

i haven't posted in forever.

but please forgive me. work everyday 9-1, two summer classes, and trying to hang out with friends and family....where has my summer gone. i guess to those things i just mentioned.

sad thing. friends all going back to school between last friday and next thursday. then...we'll all be different places. and not being home with the family...it's been a good summer.

happy thing. going back to school to be with my girls. i'm looking forward to that. oh....and being done with my class on FRIDAY!!!

so yea. time to get that done.

umm.

so the new hair is just okay now. i think i always do this. i love it for about 3 days. then i want long hair again. seems i always change my mind. but this time at least the short hair isn't a fro. so i like it, but not my favorite so far. we'll see how it turns out.

just got back from Willy Wonka (for the second time)....Johnny Depp is wonderful. i have decided i want a big poster of him for my room this fall. gee...i am looking forward to getting back. i realized that the other day when i wanted a big curling iron and couldn't run down the hall to find one.

my little cousins were here over the weekend. it was like big family reunion all weekend long. my cousin josh got married friday night, so everyone was in town. i saw travis, courtney, lindsey and tristan twice in one weekend. i also saw uncle kenny, lee, mindy, rita, donna, carrie, lilly, and marian too. donna, carrie and the 2 girls stayed all weekend. it was sooooo good to get to spend time with them. and lilly is big enough to really play now. i went swimming with her a few times and read books to her. it was wonderful to see everyone. it was like i was ten years old again. only now i'm in college, working, and my cousins have babies. so just a little bit different. but regardless....it was a wonderful weekend of family. i wish it happened more often.

cornerstone was great. i stopped to hear a band play...they were good. and then i noticed that one of the guitarists didn't have a hand! no right hand and was a good guitar player! whoa.

i read liz's blog today. i can only imagine the time they are having....it has got to be amazing! i'm so glad that they were able to go. but i miss them a lot now. i'm sitting at work and i realized that when i go home they won't be there. but....soon they will come home and i'm happy they are having such a great trip filled with memories.

soon...i'm going to the indianapolis zoo with landon. hopefully this weekend. SO excited. i'll tell you all about that underwater dolphin dome when i see it.

So yea....cornerstone is great. the weather is awesome! and the seminars are wonderful. so yea. it's a good year at cornerstone. alright...i should get off of this computer and back to the festival!

it has become one of the frequent things i hear my sister say. so today, i will blog what she has recently told me to blog. and really i have quite a lot to say....

i work in the Taylor World Outreach office. everyday the nice mail man, Paul, comes in and sings to me. Usually it's "just the two of us. oh just the two of us" because usually the office is empty besides me when he comes in. but yesterday it was "sara, sara....." and then of course he tells me of the weather that i am either missing or glad to be out of.

in 3rd grade i had to go to the bathroom....unforunately i was terrified of my teacher at that point, so i waited. and waited. and waited until i could wait anymore and i peed my pants in class. instead of then going to her and saying "i peed my pants" i sat there until lunch...luckily by that time they were dry.

and one more thing.....my boyfriend's dad (who is very nice....just a bit anal about keeping his things nice. okay really really anal) has a boat on a lake in Indiana. it is a nice boat and they let me go play up at the lake with them....you know tubing, skiing, wave-runnering, you know...lake stuff. but you can't get the boat wet. the inside of a boat is not made to get wet....only the outside. so, if you visit the lake, don't get the boat wet.

so there you have it. the latest of what liz has told me to blog.

my dad fixed my computer! so exciting. now i have a desk and a computer to do all my homework at. that makes me happy.

i leave for cornerstone in a week! ONE WEEK! it's like all the waiting that comes throughout the year.....is almost over. and now it's time to begin planning and getting super excited about it. it would be great if more people wanted to go...so if you want to, talk to me....i have tickets.

Father's Day

so today was great. bit family afternoon at my grandpa's house.

cousins from all over. uncles. aunts. it was wonderful

the little cousins (9 and under) had landon, me, travis, and his friend Wendy (16-19) play Star Wars. Let's just say the big kids got beat up! Then we all went swimming.....FREEZING. and the little boys were shaking they were so cold...but they wouldn't get out of the water either because they were having so much fun. and little Wesley loves to give hugs. he is adorable. (probably about 4).

dad says i see too many movies. in the past 2 weeks or so i've seen The Longest Yard (twice), Hitch, Cinderella Man, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and Batman (twice). So what do you think? I've only seen the good ones!

alright. work is crazy.....and i'm very busy, so haven't had much time to blog. so sorry. now it is time for bed!

Harley...

so i took harley to the church softball game tonight. my big scared baby of a golden retreiver. he is simply adorable. he would hardly get into my car as we were about to leave...but finally he did. he seemed terrified at first, but eventually he began to calm down. he didn't do bad at the game at all. he seemed a little nervous, but eventually was alright. it was a good time. and the ride back he seemed very relaxed.

so the evening turned out great.

wonder if that is because i just came in from the yard and it's something like 90 degrees out there. oh...and i was actually doing some work too. i mowed part of the yard at the office and then i swept up some grass. i was only out for about an hour, but that is definitely long enough.

so yea. landon has decided to stop playing hockey. which means he will probably be back in muncie now. wow how things change. one day he tells me he has a blog, another that he's reading books, and then he's going to stop playing hockey. yikes-a-roo for big changes! but i think it's going to turn out just the way it is supposed to.

well i still need to clean my room, mow the yard, do my homework, get the branches at the office raked up. so yea. that is going to have to come at a later time....hopefully i get it done soon. so time for dinner with landon...and then time to do more work.

sunday....

so yesterday...i got up around 11 and somewhat cleaned my room. i have way too much work to get done in there and not nearly enough time. what-ev. around 2:00 was lunch time and a quick swim with Karen, Rajeev, and mom. lots of fun. the water was cold, but not too bad. so then we all headed to New Castle to go to Travis's open house (my cousin). I stayed until about 5:30. I then headed over to Tony's open house. got there about 6 as it started to rain. Didn't end up staying too long as most people left soon after i got there and the rain came.

then a group of us headed to the Albany house. we sat around for a good hour and a half deciding what to do....like usual. but then we decided to watch Dodgeball which is a funny movie.

landon and i started talking about everything about 10:30....at 11:30 mom called and i said i'd be home soon. at 12:00 i said i should go...but we kept talking. and 12:15 we headed towards the door as landon said "oh...one more thing" and we ended up talking until 1:10. we talked about just about everything. everything from church and what we believe to him not playing hockey anymore. it was a huge night. and even though things might change, that's alright. finally we left and i knew i would soon be asleep. that was nice. but it was very good to talk to him for so long especially since we've been so busy we haven't gotten to talk a whole lot.

13 people.....

and one movie. After Brittany's open house 13 of us went to see The Longest it was good. I had also seen it on Friday night with Liz and Stuber. But being with that big of a group was a lot of fun. hardly ever happens, but it was a good time.

i wish landon could have been there, but he's at a hockey try out. i hope this one turns out the way it should. but he does have 2 more this summer. i hope he makes one....i know it's his dream.

so today is tony bell's open house and my cousin travis's open house. oh...and the massive cleaning of my room. yikes. i should go get started on that one.

the summer....

I've realized how busy this summer is going to be! yikes. I'm looking forward to it though. I am definitely not going to be bored. so yea.

i've realized that there is so much that i want to do. i want to graduate from college and i want to have a dog. i want to make something amazing. i want to have a job that i love. i want to have scrapbooks full of pictures. i want to make my own clothes. i want to have a knitting club. i want to make things. i want to play the piano. i want to be organized. i want to have the girls come over all the time. i want to make pizza and watch movies all night long. i want to make this summer so full i'll have memories to last a lifetime.

so yea. i can't do all that this summer, but i'm planning on doing the things i always say i want to do and then never do. so here's to doing all that.

work work work....

so i am working working working working. i feel SO busy...but that's a good thing. just a lot of stuff to do. yikes.

on sunday i went to rachel delph's open house....that was a lot of fun. i'm so proud of that girl. she is amazing. i'm looking forward to britty's this weekend. yay!

saturday was graduation. congrats to all of you. jim marker was there. he took landon and me out to dinner at red lobster. free food is the best. then late night cosmic bowling. it was a lot of fun. i bowled a 75...sweet! hehe. but a lot of friends were there and we had a really good time.

sunday after rachel's open house i went to the lake with landon and his family. it was a very good time. not as busy as usual...so that was cool. sunday evening landon and kyle and i went out on the waverunners....lots of fun and i'm actually getting better at driving them. sunday landon and i went tubing a few times on the giant tube. our last ride was actually kind of a hard one. i'm all bruised up from the covering and such. i fell off, but it was fun....i stayed on longer than i thought i would have. hah.

so today was back to work. i'm working in the TWO office 9-1 and this week the bookstore from 1-4:30....and landon is now working at the muncie wally world. which speaking of he gets off work soon. good good. then dinner time. yay.

it hasn't gotten better....

the room, that is. i moved a few things around but not much more than that. yikes. i've just been avoiding it most of the time.

work is good. not much to say about that.

graduation is this weekend....congratulations to all of you. it's a good time...enjoy it.

landon is coming home this weekend for good....YAY. graduation and open houses are on the schedule. and then sunday.....i'm going to the lake! that makes my day.

and i bought a new bathing suit today.....so cute! i enjoy it greatly. but i will not be wearing it this weekend as i would probably fall off and it is white with light pink...and the lake would turn it brown. so yes. i shall be wearing one that if it turns brown it won't be a problem. but i want to wear my newer cuter ones and not my older one.....but that won't be happening either because they would fall off. so yea. not wearing those ones. boys sure do have it easier. or maybe just girls that don't love bathing suits. (i'm not one of them....i LOVE new bathing suits!)

and i'm missing mak and nat and lex greatly! i hope they are having a wonderful summer just like i am. i mean, puerta vallarta for dinner last night, lunch today, and home made callamari for dinner tonight. how could it be better than the D.C.......HAH! i also love good food. yum

now it's time to go eat it!

yes i am. i am going into work today for a whole 6 hours! and besides that, i'm taking my own lunch. so be proud all you who say i mooch lunch from work. i actually got up early today so i could pack my lunch. and i have to say it looks pretty good. a barbeque sandwich, chips, strawberries, melon, and graduation cake...and diet coke. yum.

now that summer has began, i must get started on everything i plan to do this summer. so today after work....i should start on the bedroom and get it looking livable. i might just take a picture to show how awful it has been.

now i am off to work.

all moved home!

so i am finally done with school. i finished all my finals and moved out of swallow robin hall by thursday afternoon. it is so good to be home.

but i'm not taking much of a break. my plans for the summer are as follows. i am going to be working 2 jobs, taking 2 classes, going to cornerstone, weekly church softball games, getting in shape to run the mini marathon next spring, scrapbooking the past year and maybe a little more than that, sewing, knitting, and also reorganizing my room and basement. so i'm just a little busy. but i think it is going to be a great summer that is very exciting!

tomorrow liz graduates from taylor university. what am i going to do without her??? i'm so glad she was there this year. it definitely would not have been the same without her. i'm also glad that i decided on taylor....it has been great to be there with her, be close to home, and not lose contact with those around here. i have loved being able to call up mom and dad and come home for dinner. it has been a good year and i'm glad about that.

so the downside of moving home....the year is over and won't be the same. i'm changing roommates, i'm taking harder classes, i'll actually have to do work, no more nat and mak down the hall...instead i'll have to walk a half mile to get to them..but that's okay, and in general..things will be different. so to all my wonderful new friends....i'll miss you millions this summer. come visit, or i'll visit you....at least i hope.

it's been a while! so sorry for that one. i guess i have just slacked off a lot. i'll try to better from now on.

things have gotten really stressful finishing off the year and such. i will sure be ready for summer time! definitely looking forward to that one.

i've been studying all day....so much fun. haha. i hope these finals, projects, and papers all go just as i planned.....wonderfully!

a sad day.

so today a sad thing happened.

holly (who lives down the hall) noticed that Gulp Gulp seemed to be stuck in the plant in my tank. Now he usually sits up there for a few hours out of the day, so seeing him up there was not unusual. but today was a different story. today, he was stuck. we managed to get him out of the plant, but unfortunately, he could not pull through. at 8:45 p.m. Gulp Gulp was flushed after being found upsidedown on the bottom of the tank. the plant killed him. Goodbye Gulp Gulp. you were wonderful. It is sad to see you go.

oh, and the glass fish died a few days after arriving due to depression.

i think Yellowfish and Pete are getting nervous.

what a good day....

so yesterday after my classes and stressing out about my major (whatever....do i really need one of those??) i decided to take a good long nap. i was going to get up around 6:15ish (i went to bed about 5:00)...but when dad called at 5:30 and woke me up, my nap definitely needed to go longer. silly me woke up at 7:00 and realized i had missed dinner. :-( so i fell back asleep. when i finally did get out of bed it was already 8:30......and whoops, i realized i missed my IFC meeting. but.....(here's the good part!)

Alexis was headed to Ivanhoe's, so i went too. i ate too much, but it was yummy....plus, i had a really healthy day otherwise. but before we left i checked my mail. i was SO excited to find out i had 2...yes TWO real letters. (okay cards...whatever) my mom had sent me one, which was absolutely wonderful. i will definitely write her back soon. and then there was a second one. i did not recognize the handwritting whatsoever, and i was quite confused. that was until i turned it over and realized it was from landon's grandparents!! they sent me a nice card for my birthday. i was shocked......so yes. 2 wonderful cards in 1 day!!!!

so after Ivanhoe's i knew i needed to study, but decided to get to bed early and study this morning. but before i fell asleep, i had to name my fish and frog. i've had them a week...and they needed names. My fish are Pete and Yellowfish. and my frog is GulpGulp. I think those are perfect names....and someday you should ask me to tell you the story of GulpGulp and Yellowfish.

so this morning I got up about 8:25ish and came to the library to study. yes yes. I have now studied for about 2 and 1/2 hours for my statistics test....i hope it goes alright. yikes. now it is time to get to lunch with Alexis. :-D

so much has been going on.....

so yes. friday night mom made me this awesome new fleece blanket....because my post was so short, i forgot to mention it. so i shall mention it now. it has a blue backing and hockey players on the front. sunday morning i skipped out on church to go to DeSoto Elementary School. I parked my car, got out, laid my new blanket on the grass and read a wonderful book by Donald Miller. I spent quite a while just sitting on my own being by myself. It was very refreshing to get away from the craziness here at Taylor and go back to Elementary school. It was wonderful. But you know what made it so much better than if i had done this last week......this week i had a great blanket to lay on all because my mom is SO great!!

Tuesday morning I got up early to meet Karen in Muncie. I met her at 9 AM at G&M pet store. There she bought me my birthday present. She bought me my fishies!! I now and the proud owner of 2 guppies (1 male and 1 female), a colored glass fish, and an African Dwarf Frog!! I am afraid I have done something wrong though because the frog is acting weird and the water is cloudy. but things seem alright now....i just hope they stay this way.

I just made myself some KoolAid. I love it. I haven't had KoolAid since last summer and before that I can't remember when it was. I was just thinking about how last summer in Costa Rica every day at our work site we would work, take a snack, work, lunch, long nap, work, snack, and then work for a little while longer. and everyday with our snacks and lunches....we would drink KoolAid. It was always an exciting surprise to taste what flavor I would get that day. It hardly ever remained the same. Oh, and the KoolAid could always use some more mix stuff. So as I sit here at my desk drinking my KoolAid, that could probably use more mix stuff, I think of Costa Rica. it was a good trip. I miss those kids from home. you sure are some great ones. I love you.

the weekend

went with my family to see fever pitch tonight. a very cute movie. i enjoyed it.

going to see landon tomorrow. excited about that. doing lots of homework....but at least i get to see landon. good good.

church on sunday and a birthday cookout for alex robertson. :-D should be a good time.

so i'm headed off to work in about 3 minutes. i got out of stats early....that was sweet. it is a beautiful day outside and it makes me not really want to go to work, but i've gotta. i got my first check yesterday. that is wonderful....i might actually be able to pay for some gas. oh joy. so yea.

i'm probably going to change my major too....isn't that exciting. oh you know it is. so i've gotta figure that one out too. yikes. a lot to do in these last few weeks of school. alright.

So about 7:30 Landon arrived at my front door with a dozen red roses. :-D they are wonderful. we left for dinner at Damon's. On the way he played me a song by Keith Urban (oh yes i love the country..hehe) and then gave me my very nice and simple anklet with a cross on it. Dinner was great and perfect. We played the trivia game......that was entertaining. i actually knew some of the answers all by myself!

after dinner we went back home for cake and ice cream with family. Billie and his fiancee and their kids, grandma, patti, tammy, karen, rajeev, liz, and mom (plus me and landon) were all there. They stayed until about 10ish.

Saturday.....Landon, Mom, and i went to Louiville to pick up my new sofa loveseat thingy. we made it back in time to see Rachel Delph at the mall getting her make-up done for prom. she looked great. then it was back to my house for me and landon switched his phone with his mom's phone. we then we to Puerta Vallarta with Kim and Alex. we also went and watched the Ring2. grand. I liked it. then back to Alex's house and i fell asleep on the ground.

Sunday.....church, then lunch with grandma, karen, rajeev, landon, liz, mom, and me with apple dumplings. so good. landon and i then brought my sofa to taylor and took the futon home. landon was going to go hang out with his friend sam, but sam wasn't able to do that. so he is hanging out with them on friday instead. so landon was able to spend some more time around here. we got some food and watched a movie.

it was a wonderful birthday weekend. i am so thankful for all of my family, friends and all those that care about me. you made my birthday wonderful once again!

April Fool's Day

i love it.

as i have said earlier, it is my birthday. what a day. i have been told that i love my birthday and celebrate it like it's my job. and that is true. so i make sure that everyone knows when my birthday is so that way everyone tells me happy birthday on my birthday. The thing is that my birthday is very memorable. For one, it is on the first of the month and it is usually noticed when months change. and then again it is also April Fool's Day, which throughout your day, many people probably mention. so therefore, people remember my birthday.

So let me tell you about my birthday this year.

i slept on the couch last night as i did not want to clear off my bed which is covered in lots of odd things i brought home from school as i was not using them. i woke up around 8:15, kind of early, but not too bad. about 10:15 mom and liz and i left and went to the Albany post office and then headed to the the bakery to pick up my cake and some breakfast. i ate a blueberry doughnut with blue icing and sprinkles and half of a very good cresant doughnut. it was delish. then we went to the mall and i got my second hole put in my ears. i now have 6 peircings and i think that is pretty good. after the mall we called grandma and ate lunch at the olive garden. i had the seafood alfredo. delish once again. liz and grandma then went shopping and i went with mom to hobby lobby and the grocery. karen joined us at hobby lobby and then headed to work (she had just gotten off of jury duty...fun fun). mom and i then went to marsh. we ran into Denise Shockley from across the street, Jane Delph (Rachel's mom), Landon's mom, and this other lady's that had me speak at her church for a 30 hour famine thing. We were just going for a short trip, but ended up staying way too long. oh well. it was nice to see all those people. Then we headed home and put away the groceries. i ate another cresant doughnut.

i am now sitting at my computer and about to take a nap.

my birthday plan has worked (the one about getting people to remember) because 8....yes EIGHT people (only two realated) have called me today. i feel so so special. it is a great day.

landon is coming to take me out to dinner sometime tonight. it's all a surprise. so that's exciting. i'll let you know how it all turns out!

Florida......

Spring Break.

once again i am here in florida for spring break. yikers. it's great. I love coming down here for spring break. simply because it is long enough to enjoy it, but not too long to get bored. so much time to do simply nothing. yay.

I have been reading Bears of the Blue River that Mrs. Thompson read to me when I was in 4th grade at DeSoto Elementary School. I am thinking I am going to give it to my neighbor, Barak, who is about 10 and in 4th grade this year.

So yes. Florida is good. nice and relaxing. seems to be a good spring break once again.

a good day....

So i went to church last night. I got back and Christina and Holly had begun to rearrange the room. hehe. I helped finish that up last night to a point where there was definately light at the end of the tunnel. Today I got up at 10:30, and began to clean again. I dusted all of my shelves, emptied trash from drawers, and organized most of my stuff.

I then took a nap and dinner. now it's time to study.

a new room arrangement...

so today i was in muncie when i got a call from Christina (my roommate) asking if she and another girl could rearrange the furniture. of course i agreed. i then proceeded to go to dinner, church, and then back to SR. the room is wonderful and much enjoyed. the new set up is dandy and i think it is going to work out very nicely. good good.

a choice...

so i have been offered a job by the TWO office. about 5-10 hours a week, but the question is whether or not i want to keep it over the summer. if i do, i can start now. if i don't, i can start in the fall. so. is the pay worth the drive to work about 20 hours a week over the summer? or do i find another job? interesting questions and i think i need to think about them for a while. i'm supposed to get back to Lisa in the next few days. as of right now i'm leaning towards taking it now and working over the summer.....that is of course if i don't end up on the amazing race.

Dentist, Amazing Race, and the Ft. Wayne Komets....

So i haven't posted all week. It was a pretty busy one too...just a lot of work.

So I had a wonderful weekend. Thursday I went home because I had to get my car's a tire (cost WAY too much money), get my picture taken to send in to the amazing race (i'll explain later), go to the dentist, and landon came home!!

Landon and I hung out at the office while Karen took a passport sized photo of me, then we went to get a new tire, then went to Puerta for lunch, then back to the office for pizza (I only had one slice and landon didn't eat any), and then we headed out ot westside park to take some photos for my photojournalism class. It was then time for the dentist, then dinner at Landon's, then Liz's senior project presentation, and then back to landon's to watch a movie....finally at 1 A.M. I arrived back at Taylor.

So let me explain about the Amazing Race. on Tuesday we were having birthday dinner for Rajeev. Tuesday morning I got a call from Phil telling me we were going to be filming our audition video for the Amazing Race that night. The birthday dinner was de-lish and we had a great time. We then filled out our application and filmed the video. You see, this season of the show is the family edition...so the 4 of us kids have applied. But, unfortunately Rajeev can't compete because he isn't a citizen. :-( So along with the many things we had to send in were passport sized photos. hence the needing Karen to take one of me on Thursday.

I also got to go to the dentist Thursday. have I mentioned that I LOVE going to the dentist. well I do. It is just wonderful. I have always loved going. My mom says when I was little (younger than 5) and the big kids got to go to the dentist I always wanted to go. Well, I still love going to the dentist. One reason may be that I have never had a cavity or had any major dental work done. I had my top wisdom teeth pulled (not cut) out and the next day I skipped school (I had my wisdom teeth out....i was getting out of school!) and went the chinese, a movie, and bought a prom dress. I did have one filling, but that was just because a tooth cracked and it was a preventative for getting a cavity. Well anyway. I was in the chair and Dr. Jennings (my wonderful dentist who writes poetry and paints) told me to bite together and then he told me I had perfect teeth. Once he was done with the cleaning, instead of saying "It's always a pleasure to see you" he said "It's always a pleasure to see such a nice set of teeth." So I think I discovered the other reason I love the dentist. My best physical feature....I have perfect teeth.

Then it was Friday. a day full of classes and then the weekend. This friday....was a great friday. After my first class I got a message from Landon that his dad was going to take us to the Ft. Wayne Komets game. They would pick me up right after my class and we would be on our way. It was grand. We ate in Ft. Wayn before the game, made bets on shots of goal and the spread (i'm SO cool...I know what those are!!), got Dippin' Dots! bought landon new skates (they are awesome) and even went to Applebee's to get Blondie's. I was surprise at how great of a time I had since I was so tired and had a headache when we left. But, I just wanted to say I had a WONDERFUL time and thank you for everything Dean. it was a great night!

Saturday I slept in and then went to work out with Mak and Nat. fun fun. I did areobic stuff and then we danced in the areobic room. We worked our abs and legs so much. The whole time we were dancing I was on my tip toes. ouch. My legs are a little sore...but not too much. but my hips hurt. oww! It felt good. I actually had a good time working out. yikes!

Saturday night I went to Pizza King with Karen, Rajeev, and Dad. then home to watch part of a movie Liz was already watching with some friends. I then read Liz's screenplay....I loved it. very nice work lij. I can't wait to see it on the big screen. heh....that just sounds like a movie quote. hehe.

and now I am headed to Chili's to eat dinner.
it was a very good weekend.

should be doing something useful....

i took a long nap today. 4:35-8:00 yikes! I went to bed at 3 and got up at 8:30, so i guess i needed the sleep. yes.

so now it is about 11 p.m. and i'm thinking my bed would be nice since i am going to get up in the morning and go work out. yikes. but i'm actually looking forward to it. it's not so bad. so....work out, here i come. but for now, i think i'm going to read a bit, and then hit the bed.

i talked to evan today...we decided we are glad god invented the bed. i need to go enjoy it soon. hehe.

i got a postcard from mom today. it made my day! i was so so happy to get something real in the mail. i like mail....so thank you for the post card. and to everyone else....i will happily accept more mail anytime. heh.

so this post was completely useless, but that isn't such a horrible thing.

I am amazing!

so tonight it is a late night, but that's okay. I have gone to bed at 11 the past 2 nights, eaten breakfast, worked out 3 days in a row, done all of my homework, and most of it for friday....i am beginning to feel on top of things. and i even went down into the dungeon to do my stats homework. it has been a good day. a good week actually. i've been eating better, spending less money, and working out more. i am determined to be healthy by those things and getting enough sleep, and not procrastinating on my work so i have to drive myself crazy trying to get it done.

i am doing good.
i feel i am finally getting things together for this semester.....i had been feeling behind all the time. things are beginning to change. which is very good.

I failed....

my goal of not napping completely failed. About 1/2 an hour after I made my last post, I definately took a nap. while this felt wonderful....I slept until 7:15...and I missed dinner. :-( So I went to the lounge and bought myself some junk food. yum.

Now I am watching TV with Mak and Nat.
Very little homework and no classes tomorrow......sounds like a good night to me!

trying not to take a nap.....

I have had a good day. It has been full of classes, but that's okay. 6 in 1 day is quite a lot, but oh well....I made it through and got out early from my last class.....an hour early! (it's an hour and a half class) It made my day.

I went to bed last night about 1:30 and got up about 8:45. I actually woke up feeling rested and not still worn out. (a VERY good thing) I haven't taken a nap today and I am trying not to. It seems I have been sleeping almost too much. Seems impossible, but when I go to bed at 12, get up at 10, go to one class, eat lunch, and then take a 2 hour nap at 2:30.....I need to stop that.

So i guess it is time to finally put something of great interest on my blog. I very humorous thing happened on Monday that I am embarrassed to admit, but it is so funny, I just can't help myself. Monday I got up for my 9 o'clock class at 8:51, so I was in a bit of a hurry. well when class got done, I wanted to go take a nap, but I didn't. I decided I would meet Liz at Chapel since she hadn't said she wasn't going. Well...unfortunately, Liz was not there. Therefore, I blame the events that follow...on her.

While I had the thought of leaving chapel and going back to bed, I decided it would be good to stay. So I did. but.....I was tired and I began to drift off. I was sitting up in the balcony so this was not noticed much. I laid my head on my friend Kim's shoulder. Now, while I was sitting there I had the urge to expend some gas...but I knew I could not do that in chapel...and the urge was subdued. This was of course....before I fell asleep. I quickly fell fast asleep....not solidly, but definately asleep. but I was easily woken up when I realized something had happened. I realized that my urge had resurrfaced and had not been subdued. For one, I felt it. for two, The looks on 5 girls around me (all friends of mine) and the boy and his girlfriend behind me (who I did not know) were definately telling me it had not been a dream, and it was quite loud. One even said that the floor vibrated. The rest of the Chapel service was filled with giggles and laughter coming from the 6 of us.

So there is my story from Chapel on Monday. The moral of this story.....do not sleep in chapel!! it turns out just plain bad! Since this incident many others have been told the story. Some just laugh, others are proud, and some have given me some odd looks. but overall.....it is quite the memory that I don't think anyone around that morning will forget anytime soon.

so i haven't posted in a long while....but that's alright. I've been really busy. but had some free time.....lots of homework is beginning to pile up....but hopefully i can overcome that before it becomes WAY too much.

so, the past week....not a lot has happened. I saw Landon on v-day. He bought me a necklace. sweet. He played in Indy this weekend, so I went to his game tonight. Troy is spending the night with him tonight and hanging out with us tomorrow.....should be a good time. I had a good time with landon's parents and family tonight, that was great. and his aunt and uncle invited me over again sometime. they love me! hehe.

Well....I'm going to go to bed since I have to get up in the morning for church.

BAD SARA!!

I haven't posted since last Thursday. What a shame. I should not be allowed to have a blog if I won't post. But I guess things have been busy and that is somewhat of an excuse....but not really. I did finally apply for a job.....Pizza Hut in Gas City. Oh the joy! hehe. hey, I REALLY need a job.

Now it is time to do my homework and hope I get it done before it's too late. it's such a nice day out....I wish I could play instead of work. but that isn't how it's going to work today.

not too bad...

I got up this morning around 10:45...not too bad. I went to lunch with liz at 12 and I am eating dinner with my family at Damon's at 5:30! So that is exciting. I am feeling better, but not great. kind of stuffy and yucky. I wish I had some suddafed. It has been good that I don't have any classes today. But i do have small groups in 30 mins...which speaking of I need to get reading before I go.

I'm off to do a little bit of homework and then small groups, and then dinner! sounds like a good night!

It is 12:00 AM and I am still up. but as soon as i write this post, my bed is where I will be. I watched American Idol....great! like always. and have done nothing important since then. It ended at 10:00 PM. I am not too tired.....just feeling horribly.

yea...that didn't happen

So my plan of getting to bed last night by 12:00....HAH! let's try more like 4AM.....yea. I got up at 8:27 AM. Classes were alright today....a bit long. but not too bad.

I'm afraid I'm getting sick. I've had a headache all day, sneezing, and just feeling plain yucky. I slept from my last class until dinner and I'm definately going to bed early tonight since I don't have class tomorrow!! so...American Idol tonight...and then whatever until bed.

I went to class today and my prof was explaining things extremely fast. DANG! but it wasn't too bad....just kind of crazy. I have almost all of my laundry done...yay! My homework is coming along just fine. New developments in my summer plans....they seem to always be changing.

Now my next hope is to be in bed by 12:00 or soon after.

I just got up...

It is almost 11:00 and I have just rolled (jumped) out of bed and I still haven't missed my class. and yes. I did not say classes. I said class. One class today. and it is only an hour long.

Today I am going to do my laundry. It needs to be done VERY badly. I don't think I have any clothes that I want to wear that are clean. The laundry is calling.

Other than that, I am going to do homework, knit, watch tv, and just plain relax! yay for me! Now I should probably start getting ready for class....but I will probably wait until later.

so.....

the weekend has been alright. last night I went and watched the play...it was alright. by far, the best was spending a great evening with Nat and Mak and dinner with my mom and dad. David did a wonderful job and Keegan was spectacular!

I spent today with Kim Farr. We went to Marion and had lunch at Applebee's...yum. Then a short trip to Walmart and then the TU vs. IWU basketball game. fun fun fun. TU won....52-31. good stuff. I saw Isaac Parris play...that was fun. his long hair makes him look like he is a lot more bouncy than he really is. I did realize he is a very fast runner....about as fast as me...HAH. okay. he's much MUCH faster. such thing there. Kim and I were planning on going to church. But then decided not to. We got back to TU and I decided I would go catch my family. Met them at Olive Garden, then Mom, Liz, and I went to church. After church mom and I went to Panera with Uncle Lee and Aunt Mindy. That was fun. I knew almost the entire place. Heather Miller, the Ball girls and boyfriends/husbands...including Aaron Carter, Brandon (who I will always know as Flanders) and others....I also saw the new worship guy at Union Chapel, Todd from DHS and Delta Troupers, and Rindy....from Taylor. So yes....quite a few people. After that I took mom back to the office and I headed back here to Taylor.

Now I am back here with once again nothing to do. I am hoping that I can go watch the Superbowl at the Green's tomorrow and it isn't limited to the youth group. Especially since Ben and Rob will most likely be there as "leaders"....whatever. I am wondering where Mak is...not too sure. Probably spending time with Ross. I wish I could talk to Landon....but he had hockey in MI this weekend and probably won't be back to BG until late. and he never takes his phone....so maybe I'll talk to him tomorrow. other than that, I'm thinking I want some alone time. I kind of just want to curl up and be warm and cozy. I might just rearrange my closet. hmm. not too sure. I probably won't. I'll probably just read a book or something intellectual. hah.

Phil called me the other day and asked me if I wanted to live in Columbus for the summer. I think it'd be great. I think I want to do it...but I'm not sure if I will. Just thinking about it right now. It's only Febuary...so I've got some time. So yes. There is an update on my life. goodness...it seems this post is forever long.

Delta Troupers.....

tonight I am taking 2 girls from TU to go watch Voices From Washington High. I am quite looking forward to seeing that good old Delta High School stage again. I really do miss that part of DHS. my stage. no I wasn't the best actress...but I sure did have a good time in that class. I almost wish the play I was going to tonight was my play. As much as I disliked 2 week rehersals, I lived for them. So tonight, I look forward to seeing what my kids have come up with. If only we hadn't done Romeo and Juliet, maybe things would be different.

Monday's and Wednesday's are LONG....

yes they really are. I was up at 8:30...at class at 9 and didn't stop until 4:15. I soon left for dinner, had a break in my room.....and now I am at the library while Natalie finishes up printing some stuff for her classes. I was so nice and came with when she asked me to come. I am very much ready for a nap, but I have other work to be doing. such as Stats. yes yes. :-/ Other than that I just have some reading for bib lit, 2D design, and maybe a little for Fit for Life....but it doesn't have to be done until Friday!! yay! I like this whole crazy day and then nothing schedule. it gives me a little time to relax and slack off without really getting hurt for it.

I am a bit worn out even though I shouldn't be. I should be all awake...but i guess it has been a long day. And I FINALLY went to chapel today. good stuff there. I slacked a lot during J-term because if I hadn't stayed up all night, it was probably pretty late and I most likely was using that time for sleep an extra hour before class or getting clean...seeing as those were the 2 things most pushed aside due to the drawing.

I ended up getting a B in the class. not the best, but I think it is mainly due to the fact I spent all my time drawing the final project and not enough time studying for the actual test. It didn't hurt my grade massively, but yea. alright alright. I did good for being a college level art class and not knowing what to expect. If I could always get B's......things would be alright. I haven't gotten a C yet in any class....and I hope to keep it that way. oh yea. such a smarty aren't I....hehe.

Well hopefully I can get some work done and get to bed early. good good.

I got up at about 9:15. ate McDonalds for lunch and Pizza Hut for dinner....oh yea! I rock. I needed some good food and I got it. yummy.

I went to class. Did some homework. Talked to my mom and my sister. found out I'm getting a deal on books. oh yes. I rock.

I feel like it's been forever....

Wow....it's only been a day since I posted. It seems like much longer than that! wowsas! So today has got to be the longest day since I've been at Taylor. wow. I feel SO tired. but it's only 11:00. I wanted to watch Love Actually but I'm thinking I might just go to bed. wow....it seems late.

So the first day of classes went pretty good. But I will definately say that 6....yes. SIX classes in one day is a bit of a load. luckily I have tomorrow practically off.....so that will help me recover. I was up by 7:55 and in class at 8:30....not horrible, but still. I managed to get my meal transfer....YAY! now I can eat lunch and not starve all day!! yay! I grabbed my lunch and headed to Bib. Lit at 11:00....wow. 12 hours ago. It has been a long day. Classes ended up not being too bad. I'm really going to like my photojournalism class....fun fun and digital photography....and photoshop...oh the joy. The math shouldn't be too awful. and the gym class should really get me motivated to work out and get my butt in shape...so then I can breathe much better. I was done with class early today at 4. I had dinner....actually pretty healthy for once. an IFC meeting at 7:30....we accomplished OH so much. hehe. And a friend's volleyball game at 9:15. of course there was much slacking in the time between everything....hehe.

Now...after this significantly long and uneventful post......it's time for bed!

it is wonderful. i have been here one day and i know that when i have to leave on sunday it is not going to be what i want to be doing. goodness. plenty of catching up on rest is happening here. I laid by the pool and go a little burnt.....great huh? okay. you are all welcome to hate me.

Mom bought me some new pj's from walmart. Spongebob...size 12/14 boys. hehe. such a great set. Now Hook is on....i feel like such a kid. SO happy it is finally on. I've wanted to watch it since I found out Finding Neverland was a movie (while it was still in production)

Talked to mom and karen about BG. that went alright. I'm leaning towards the idea of going. but yea.....still not decided yet. We'll see where I end up.

So yes. Florida is wonderful and it is SO good to be here again. i hope i can come back on spring break with mak and nat. it would be so great!!

amazing......

so i managed to get my drawing done. after an entire night of no sleep, i attempted to do it again. i worked on my project until 6:30. I then slept until 10. It is now 11:30 and my project is done.

It is now time to get changed, go to class, take my test, nap, pack, head home, and tomorrow....Florida....HERE I COME!

man do I deserve a break or what.
oh yes I do.
okay....maybe just some sleep.

wow...

So it is now 1:41 a.m. and i am tired. i was up all night last night working on my drawing.....i did however manage about 2 hours of sleep today (but not all at once).....and now it's time for another night of drawing.

wow. i just drank some Sobe energy drink. it wasn't very tasty....but supposedly it will keep me awake in order to finish my drawing.

J-Term.....

J-Term ends tomorrow!!! One final project to finish up tomorrow. rock on. my stress will end. SO excited! I FINALLY get to sleep. that is....after tonight.

I finally changed my major today. Communication Studies to Marketing. Still have my minor in graphic design. good job for me.

I am going to Florida on Thursday. YAY! Coming back Sunday night. yippee. Here's to fun times with Mom, Donna, and Karen!! I deserve a break....this whole lack of sleep thing......I think I'm starting to miss it.

it's been a while.....

So yea. It's been a while since I posted. so i better get back up to speed on this thing. I'm on my final art project....a self portrait so that should be a TON of fun. hah.

I went to Landon's game last night....oh my gosh! It was AWESOME! BG played Dayton and won 6-1. Dayton played dirty and cheap, and BG played hard. It was simply an awesome game.

big decisions are on the brain as of right now. erg! I am going to change my major to a marketing major....i think. and keep my graphic design minor. problem is that it is going to be hard to get into a class to fit my schedule. eack. we'll see how that works out. the other decision is whether or not I want to transfer to Bowling Green. I am thinking I want to get out and go to a bigger school. I really want to be a graphic design major and a marketing minor...but i can't do that at taylor. but the question is, do I have a good enough reason to transfer? and those reasons i just stated ignore the landon part of this whole thing. I don't like this whole 3 hour thing. it is awful. Every weekend i have free I want to be with him. every moment i'm doing nothing i want to be with him. he's my absolutely best friend and i don't understand why i shouldn't be with him. things are always better with him around. I don't have a good reason to stay at Taylor and I know I do have reason to leave. but are those good enough reasons to go to BG??? I want to....but it scares me. I'm scared to do something risky...but why not take this risk? yes it is risky....but is it worth it? I have to decide sometime. we'll see how this whole thing goes.

such a LONG day!

first off...I got a site meter...and DANG I've had something like 25 hits today. that's amazing.

second. today seems to have lasted forever. I got up around 10:20 ish. I ate lunch at 11....class at 12-3. took an hour break. drew from 4-5:30ish. dinner. back to the art building. drew until about 7:40. Went to the IFC (go IFC!) movie and discussion (Saved!.....great movie by the way) and was back to the project by 10:45. I continued to draw until about 1 a.m. came back to swallow. checked my phone messages. and I am now posting on here. I told you it's been a LONG day.

I have the best friends a girl could ask for. Landon never ceases to amaze me. the girls love me no matter what. and the guys bring constant entertainment. I thank God every day for the people in my life who love me and care for me. I could not imagine my life without each one of them.

Landon- you rock my world. you make things make sense in my head. I love you more than I can say. Thank you for all that you do for me. You never cease to amaze me. I hate living 3 hours away from you....it is not what I call fun...plus, I waste WAY too much gas. I am convinced you will be something great in life. How can I explain to you how great you are? All I can say is that I am excited to see where you end up and I hope I am somehow a part of it.

Rachel- where do I even begin? You have never left me. I don't deserve a friend as good as you. How can I express how grateful I am to have you...I love you.

Britty- girl you make me smile every time I see you. I see Orange and think of you. Such a great girl like you deserves the very best......I wish you the best in life.

Kim- I've only recently gotten close to you and I am so so glad. Spending time with you and Alex is always a good time. I love being able to be stupid girls around our boys. I hope we become even closer as time goes by.

JoJo- Your honesty is awesome. sometimes it is amazingly brutal....but it is always good to know you are not afraid to share your thoughts. I wish we were closer than we are....I love you.

Lindsey- You are a great girl. It has been awesome to know you throughout middle school and high school. I know we never went to the same school, and our lives are completely different...but I am so glad you are a part of my life. We don't talk enough, but know how great you are.

Ainjel- While yes, I did graduate from Delta with you last year, and I don't get to talk to you every day....I haven't forgotten all that you were to me. You brightened my day! Drama would not have been the same without you. Your picture is on my desk and I think of you daily.

Ben- Thank you for all the advice. You aren't as stupid as the guys think you are. Good luck with music and become whoever you are meant to be.

Tony- I love the fact that you finally became real to me. You are an amazing guy. I hope life is good to you. You deserve it.

Rob- I haven't always been real close to you, but you are a great guy. Thank you for always letting me hang out at your house. I always say the guys' house....but I know it's yours. You are an amazing person. I wish you the best.

3:15.....done with class.

So it's 3:15 and class is done until Tuesday. but that doesn't mean I get to relax. I am going to take a nap, go to dinner, and then head back to the art building to work more on my project. If I don't get enough done tonight, I'll go back tomorrow morning before the baby shower. dang. I just want to have Sunday and Monday off....so I'll work as hard as I can to get that!

So i stayed up all night with mak and nat having some good times. plus...i finally did my laundry. now i'm off for a full day of drawing. headed to metcalf right now, then chapel, then lunch, then class, then staying until it's finished.....hopefully. then hopefully i can have a free weekend....or at least most of one. landon might be headed home.....i sure hope so. lots to talk about and all......plus there is always the missing him factor.

welp....i'm outta here for a great day of drawing!! lata lata.

Home for a while....

So yes. I am home for a bit with my mom and then headed into Muncie for dinner. sometime I will return to TU. being home has been nice and relaxing. good good.

So i'm beginning to figure this whole thing out again.
