the first big snow....

so tonight was the first big snow. after going to the movie with kyle and then coming back to TU, the snow had begun to fall very hard.

after a while i changed into some warm pants and a hat and a sweatshirt. it was a good hard not too cold snow. a few other swallowites were outside as well. so we somewhat had a snowball fight. more than anything it was just a good time outside in the middle of the night playing in the snow. it was so good.

reminded me of the time when karen, phil, liz and i danced in the snow to dean martin. i even sang a few lyrics just to remember. spinning in the heavy snow, letting the snow gather around on my clothes. it was simple and it was wonderful. i don't really remember why we were all together that night, or when it was, but we were. it was probably after a family dinner at the olive garden. so yea. it was good tonight to remember that fun night. and tonight was fun too. the first big snow of the season.

so yea. i also realized how much i do enjoy the snow...but even more so at night than in the day. at night it reminds me of dancing in the snow with my family, ice skating on a frozen pond last year, the first time i went sledding with landon, kyle, and mischon when landon and i first started dating, and other fun times late at night in the snow. so many good memories. i'm excited for more of them.
