wow - what a saturday

So...this entry is going to be short - only because i am only using it as a quick break from studying. i have finally jumped right into the studying for my comprehensive exams (that are in less than 2 weeks). weeks ago i searched through all of my old notes and bought a binder to compile them all. i have been staring at them day after day and trying to get into a routine to study them - but had failed.

until today. i have now gone through notes from 2 of my classes reading notes, highlighting, thinking through issues and all the such. so far we are going on 4 hours. luckily i have plenty of time today. only problem is that this coming week (as in starting in 2 days) i have 3 exams and a paper due. the good thing is - as i read through this information, i know i am not an idiot and i actually did learn some of it.

i have some hope left.
and just think. in just under 2 weeks, i will be able to focus on finishing this semester and i graduate. the thing that has terrified me for the past 2 years will be finished. i will have succeeded. so. here's to the studying and graduating in may.

and back to the notes i go.

hello.

i know. i haven't blogged in almost a year. i guess i can give you all an update on my life.

well. i am going to be taking my senior comprehensive exams in a little less than 3 weeks. two days of testing - Thursday March 8, 8-10 and Saturday March 10, 8-12. The first day is a 247 question multiple choice test and Saturday is an essay test - 5 essays over classes. Oh the joys of being a history major.

In other news, wedding plans are coming along just fine. Four months from yesterday. It's coming up faster than I can even prepare! but that's alright. We have big things finished and many smaller details are beginning to fall into place.

Soon enough I will be done with my senior comps and able to relax a bit. This semester I am only taking 13 hours and working about 10 hours a week. Not bad compared to the 19 hours of last semester! It seems like I have all the time in the world now....riight. It is the busiest time of year for TWO, but it's good because I have time to work extra and help Lisa out.

I think I am going to get to studying and enjoying my Saturday.

Oh yea, about that snow. I might have walked to the gas station about a mile away with 2 friends on the day of the blizzard to get some food - but that's only a might have.....so here's the probably pictures that might make that story seem true!

Dressed and ready to go out in the cold...I had on exercise pants, thermal long underwear and then those sweats. I had on a tank top, t-shirt, long sleeved t-shirt, sweatshirt, and my coat. I was looking goooood!

Sitting by a snow drift....on the walk to Handy Andy!

And we made it back successfully!!! Hopefully I'll post some more often. Sounds good.
